It’s said that twins share a deep and special bond, and I think a book like this may explore that even further. I was intrigued by the twins, and while I was reading, something about them went to my heart. Imagine being a teenager, in a world that you don’t understand, and separated from the person that knows you better than anyone else.
I found this a more complex and challenging read than I first anticipated, but it was definitely a page turner, and I will be reading the next in the series.

They’ve even given me an outline for a fifth – Invasion. But that’s not yet on my “To do” list! The Twins were 7 years old when I first met them, then grew rapidly until they stopped a few years ago at their present age of 15 and a quarter. They wrote those first 8 chapters for young children, along with illustrations. The Story they wrote remains the same as far as the adventures are concerned. I just had to rewrite for an older audience of teenagers and, I hope, adults. The plan (still!) is to upload at least some of those early chapters in their original form. I just love the young Twins’ zany humour.
