Shrinking Tunnels

The Twins and their Story regularly keep me guessing until the words appear on the page. No longer one enormous Worm, but a sleight-of-hand switch into a series of tunnels. 

As I write their latest journey,  I have found my clear ideas more than just tweaked. Four adventures firmly set – leading to the ending that has been in my mind since the beginning.

Yet the Twins change the second encounter, throwing me into confusion as it alters a key plot element. Putting the thoughts of that to one side, I write on as the third encounter remains the same, until reaching the forth adventure…now with a tunnel shrinking thus leaving them with no escape. So what next?

Thank you, Twins, as they provide the answer. Simple, but totally different from my idea.  Okay. Written. Now how to shape the Story to reach the one essential element of my pre-planned ending…
